HARD RESET

Although our speak&XXXX mods are as stable as we can possibly make them, on occasions any circuitbent machine will crash. You are asking them to do things well outside of their original design tolerances after all.

Crash limiters have been built into our machines where possible but in many cases (especially effects involving pitch changes) a compromise must be made between stopping the machine from crashing and getting the full range of effects.

Usually a Speak&XXXX machine can be restarted after a crash just by pressing the 'on' button but on rare occasions the machine will totally lock up so we provide a Hard Reset button which shuts down the unit so you can start it up again. The hard reset can also be used as a panic button if things get out of hand.
