PITCH CONTROLS

The main pitch controls on a Speak&XXXX machine consists of a knob to contol the full pitch range and another fine pitch adjust knob which helps you access the lowest 10% of the range.

These controls take the pitch of the words and sounds up to squealing chipmunk levels or right down to subsonic satanic groaning where you can hear each individual synthesis chunk. At the lowest levels the machines can sound like a kind of wierd granular synthesis.
