PITCH WARBLER

Available on S&S, S&M and S&R machines. This bend has a switch for effect on/off and a knob to control the effect depth.

The pitch warbler produces a kind of pitch vibrato/modulation in a pulse waveform at a preset speed. At lower depth settings voices sound like they are talking underwater while at more extreme settings the pitch sweeps wildly from one extreme to another sounding like a drunken cylon warrior. Oddly you can still tell what the machine is saying most of the time.

Care must be taken to set the main pitch controls at an appropriate level when using this bend as otherwise the machine may crash at its highest or lowest pitch sweep.
