Guarantee: Due to the nature of these machines we can only offer a guarantee on the actual additions to the basic unit. This means that you are guaranteed for 6 months against any faults with switches/pots/buttons or solder joints that have occured from reasonable use. The original circuitry of the unit is not guaranteed as all units are originally secondhand and although we test every unit and supply 'fully functional' instruments every additional bend added raises the very slight chance of a terminal crash. We've only ever had one death in the family and that was a deliberate attempt to see how far we could push a Speak&Spell until it died. The answer is 'A long way'.
