This past weekend findings....

So I went to the Salvation Army store this past weekend to drop off some clothing and whilst there I rummaged the toy section in the back ---- nothing. But a better look around netted these two items....
A Rock Star Classic keyboard - It works but the big yellow on/off/demo switch seems to get stuck in demo mode. This will probably be my practice piece for learning how to paint units. But I'm going to get it working and poke around inside anyways....
A Sears Lite 'N Learn electronic organ. This is in need of some serious work inside, again possibly a bad on-off switch or battery connection. Could use some better springs or something on the keys. The LEDs all work, so I guess thats a plus. Teal, though? Companies sure did like wierd colors back then...

nice trousers
i had someting like the red/yellow one, it can do freaky things !
like the lowest pitch ; if its the same chip in there, you will find it :
a tone so low, that it will sound for 5 minutes if you touch a key briefly...
you can count the hertzes
voltage drop will also work on this one, makes it glitch. only i forgotten the value...
maybe 220 ohms...
the lite 'n learn looks sweet !

I had the exact same rockstar classic. I only remember it vaguely though, as it was one of my first bends back in september. All I remember was voltage drop.. and I think a few body contacts.
The teal one looks awesome. Weird that it has no black keys. I hope you get it working!

I hope I can get it working too - the two switches are PCB mounted (read: pain in arse). I found the lack of black keys wierd too. If anything, after a cleaning, it'll be a good mantle piece at the least
ans yes, my trousers are quite nice. Well at least my pj's are!

I love the look of that Sears Lite 'N Learn electronic organ, especially the way they keep the 'n learnin' simple by leaving out the black notes!
Hope you can get it working.
