I would add 555 ICs for clock bending as the simplest "advanced" bending necessity.

Can someone point me to a good tutorial for this?  It's been on my list of things to learn for nearly a year now, and I have yet to get around to it.

Thanks.  I'll give this a shot the next time I get a toy that triggers in that fashion.

I'm still a little in the woods...  Do the two ends of the vactrol go to the two points on the clock?

Hi - I have never used a 555 for clocking, I didn't read your post very well sorry  Embarrassed

I have read that they can be used but they don't normally suffice; I have only used them for LFO's to modulate pitch, volume, pan and fx.  However I would think you would use the two ends of the vactrol, though I am not sure it would work.  Anyone done this - I obviously haven't got clue?  Undecided
