power supplies
« on: August 04, 2008, 11:56:09 PM »

out of interest how do people power their circuit boards when the case is open?

I use a battery pack and croc leads, but i remembered the other day i had a mains power pack for supplying 2 - 15V , 1.5A
Does any one see anything wrong with using this as a power supply? It certainly doesn't provide enough charge to shock you?

I tried it out on my Super Speak & Spell (blue) and it all works fine.

thanks
