Maybe I shouldn't post here then? I wanted to offer something for sale and I just wanted to give you all first shot at it, since I would be a circuit bender if I had the time, but learning to use soft synths and such has proven too much already.
Is there a for sale thread or something? Or can I just post it here? I found threads about this item here and decided from reading it that bending this device was more work than I wanted to take on right now. I'll give you a kinda low BIN, compared to what you usually find. I am not trying to be rude though. If somebody says it's OK I'll tell you all about it.
hmmm, i'd rather people didn't put up links to specific ebay auctions for circuitbent kit they are selling but feel free to put up a post in the circuitbending discussion or Banter sections offering something for sale. I assume someone will get in touch and make you an offer if they are interested.

OK, thanks. Unfortunately It only occurred to me after the fact that this bb was primarily fellows from the UK and thereabouts? So it likely wouldn't be much savings to have an odd piece of electronic hardware from the US. Regardless, I got a bit excited about this and thought of a few items I could sell to serious circuit benders. Or trade for guitar hardware. So I think I will put a list of gear I can sell at my webspace ahd you can look if you care to, bearing in mind I am located on the east coast here in the US. I'll be posting a link to it at one of the sections you recomend.
My ebay name is "rlockney", although I don't sell -- at least not bent stuff. I don't churn out enough volume to even consider it. Besides, I couldn't easily part with anything I've spent hours poking with...
I don't believe this, some little shit is so low as to complain to ebay about every listing that circuitbenders put up in on attempt to get it removed.

This is just taking the piss!
no way?! that's a bit mental.... who would do such a thing? could it be the same person who put up the ripoff of the 707 you sold a while back?
People take this stuff wayyyyyy to seriously. Everytime i put up a listing it either gets taken down and i get an email from ebay saying there has been complaints and they have removed the listing 'pending investigation' or i get some kind of vague warning emails. In typical ebay style they don't actually say what the problem is so you can't actually do anything about it.
I can only assume that someone is hoping to corner the multimillion pound market that is circuitbending on ebay and takes exception to people putting up good machines for sale
There was a rather sad individual a while back who i won't name who seemed to want to start a circuitbending war by starting a 'competing' (for want of a better word) website, complaining about every ebay listing circuitbenders put up and even buying up every single web address vaguely similar to www.circuitbenders.co.uk in the hope of stealing some traffic.
WTF! madness i tell you, especially seeing as we didn't even notice for about 6 months and by then it didn't matter anyway
The way some people act you'd think we were running Microsoft or something!
That 707 listing rip off was brilliant. You've got to admire the stunning and yet utterly useless audacity of these Chinese scammers, lovely stuff.
If you ever feel like losing any faith you might have had for the human race read the forums on eBay. You would think you were still at school with all the tale-telling and bitchiness. eBay does tend to attract obssessive types so it's no wonder you run into these idiots every now and then!
I missed the 707 rip-off sound like it was on par with busuncle!
Bit strange to rip off a listing selling something thats unique isn't it? Or maybe there are sweat shops in china where small children are furiously circuitbending TR707's
that's poor. I belive it happened to the guy from burnt circuits as well, he really took the piss and changed the mp3 links for random sounds like a dog barking while the listing was still running, should try doing that.
