OK, it has been brought to out attention that at least two members of this forum appeared to only be members of this board so they can ask other people for information on bending machines that they are immediately going to go and sell on ebay. A few posts have had to be deleted as it was getting ridiculous, especially the 'how do i bend a speak&spell and wheres the best place to sell it' thread which some of you may have noticed a week or so ago :
While we are certainly into the exchange of information and have nothing against selling items on ebay as we sell stuff ourselves, the purpose of this forum and the Tips pages on the site is to help people build machines to make interesting music or just generally cool electronics stuff, not to help people make money churning out stuff on ebay.
This isn't designed to offend anyone and its not aimed at anyone currently on the forum as the members in question have been removed but i'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you have an ebay sellers ID and you sell circuitbent machines you could list it here. Feel free to also put a link to your ebay 'items for sale page' and you could end up getting more hits on your listings. This could also stop people bidding against each other as i know i must have bid against people on this forum on items that ended up being sent to circuitbenders anyway. Whoops!
We really don't like having to be the fascist bending police here but i think its fair that if it becomes obvious that anyone is just leeching information from this community so they can sell circuitbent machines on ebay, without declaring their ebay ID here or actually contributing to the forum, then they will have their membership removed and their IP will be blocked.
I'm in the unfortunate position of having to sell one project one to afford the next, but I hope I've been contributing rather than leaching. My seller ID's Axis_of_Wrath.

I don't have a eBay Account (i hate it, bad experiences)... i buy my stuff at flee markets and second hand shops ... believe it or not -> See touch try buy
On eBay.de ( Germany) you can't find a lot circuitbending stuff (have a look) ... www.ebay.de "0 Artikel gefunden für circuit bending" "0 Artikel gefunden für circuitbending" "0 Artikel gefunden für circuit bent" ...
I swear i didn't sell circuit bent stuff on eBay, I use the stuff by myself
mine's onlythetasteofbrainscaneasemypain. I've considered selling on ebay when i get more adept with the ol' soldering iron. I like to find my own glitches. There's nothing quite like being bent over a circuit for the better part of a day...
mmm, five years ago i had an ebay acount with the name ""Sn7ke"
However, i dont want to sell circuitbend machines! Im a enthousiastic musisian who is into electronica. I would love to know how to bend small keyboards so i can use them onstage, and make fun with it!
Besides, lol, my first machine died ! so no quality bends from me O_O!
I don't have a eBay Account. i live in Finland but we do have a simillar kind of thing it's cald huuto.net (www.huuto.net) i use it to buy toy's not for selling my stuff . but anyway my ID in huuto.net is dnny
I'm in the unfortunate position of having to sell one project one to afford the next, but I hope I've been contributing rather than leaching. My seller ID's Kaoticjamie.
I know the feeling, i'm still working my way up the project ladder. One day i might even be able to afford to buy and modify a TR606! Although i'll be buggered if i'll be paying £150 for what is essentially a piece of crap. Not when you can buy a Boss DR110 for £20 which is virtually the same machine
Adding a for sale forum might be an idea then, rather than have links dotted around the place.
That might well be a good idea, i'm not sure how popular it would be as everyone here seems to be bending for themselves but i'll look into the matter. Any comments are welcome.

That quote goes a log way to explaining the mountain of toys piled up in the corner of every circuitbenders workshop. I also have a horrible affliction of being unable to leave electronic toys in second hand shops even though i probably already have 3 of the same machine i'm never going to circuitbend. Hmmmmm.......that gives me an idea, would an unbent toy trading section be useful on this forum?
i haven't yet sold anything on ebay but might have to soon as my girlfriend is starting to complain about the toy keyboards stacking up in my studio....
my ebay name is Vidiotsquad. i only ever sell stuff that i have made through my own poking and proding about, not ripping off other peoples work, and even then i only sell stuff thats taking up too much room or if i need the cash to work on a new project.
