Title: Akai S20 with LTC1799 and Bend Bus(like)
Post by: noiseybeast on September 18, 2011, 04:31:43 AM
Hi everyone!

I worked on this for too long due to silly technical issues that I describe in the video.

I used a variation of the bend bus idea as I only had SPDT with no center off -so common was a wire run to all of the switches.  You have to turn on 2 switches on the bus to get an effect, but there are 6 other switches that don't use the bus.  2 of these switches don't seem to do anything-I think I wired them to the wrong leads.

Circuit Bent/Modded AKAI S20 with pitch mod. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xhsZSUsEbU#)

All samples are from a Doctor Who documentary (DELIA!!!) No effects are used.

Thanks again to Crusty Paul for the LTC chips and for the inspiration for this!

This is the other unit I had done prior to the above video.  I love this sampler!
