Title: Ltc1799 and Yamaha Pss270
Post by: Brycecake on February 12, 2017, 06:31:57 AM
Has anyone done this? I had my ltc1799 all hooked up with my Yamaha dd5 no probs, worked great. Hooked it up to my pss270 today and it's alllll wonky... Speeds up and slows down without being touched, crashes the machine often... Has this happened to anybody? Am I missing something?

If i recall correctly theres two clocks on the PSS270. You might have the wrong one.

Crusty Paul is right, there should be a blue resonator that looks just like the DD5’s pitch clock you did, and that’s the wrong clock.  Go for the crystal in the metal tank by the fm chip, that’s your pitch, use the same technique as you did on your dd5’s resonator on that crystal and you have pitch control that won’t effect your tempo.
