i *know* Paul can do this if he gets interested :)
>>>Volca Keys tempo divider
why: the Flux mode, i've found, allows 'unquantized' recording at eg: the 1/4time
setting, so you can do 16 minisequences par pattern, and this allows the building
of really cool riff chains, excellent for arpeggios and chord progressions, really cool.
but unfortunately it runs too fast when in sync...

i put the dinsync mod on the dr110 which must apply same principle, it is ultra cool now,
shall never part company with that baby.

bearing in mind the Volcas are all MIDI sequencers in own right with MIDI out mod fitted,
would make the Keys a great writing tool.
---------------------------------------
the other thing i've just noticed about them, which is not cool is that they don't do
start/stop with this korg sync method, you start them manually-unless i've broken mine,
only noticed it the other day while slaving the top one to MIDI and chaining the others.
some sort of switch to allow either start/stop mode would be nice and functional.
-------------------------
plenty of other idea being kicked up by using them...

There are some super mods out there for the Beats already but I haven't seen anything on the Keys yet.  An Australian guy named Darren Glen on YouTube has done some work on the Bass (distortion, in vidal volumes for each of the 3 VCOs) but hasn't posted any specifics.  I'm really a bit flabbergast that there aren't more out there, considering how popular they are and that they've been out for a while...

I'm guessing its the horrors of surface mount that are the problem. Are the schematics out there yet?

Its impossibly difficult trying to trace anything on a multilayer surface mount board with no schematics. Kudos to anyone that has the time and dedication to do so!
