Title: Akai S01
Post by: dsc on June 30, 2011, 06:11:57 AM
Finally had a chance to get some pics up. Added a little led back light, so I can see what I'm doing in the dark.
I'm posting a youtube video to my audio page.  Thanks again for all of your help. This was a lot of fun :)

Now thats nice, i'm glad i could be of assistance!  :)

Is that front panel a piece of frosted perspex you've cut to size and attached to the front of a standard rack somehow, or does the rack case come with that front?

I replaced the original aluminum face with a piece of 1/4 inch Lexan that I routed out using my CNC router.
Lexan(polycarbonate) is nearly indestructible, no worries about cracking or breaking with heavy use. :)
