dead OP-AMP in Casio MT-45
« on: March 09, 2014, 08:43:35 AM »

Hi guys.

from all accounts, the op-amp in my casio MT-45 is dead.  I can get a proper audio signal if i tap it just before the IC, but no sound out of the speaker/headphone/line out.

The chip is seems to have no info on it self out their. LA4138

It is a 14 pin chip with a big heatsink on the end.  9V.

thoughts on replacing it.
