Yes I love that too! I got it at a gadget shop here in stockholm but I think you can find it elsewhere too. And I guess you can do similar things to just about any of those keychains. Here's a link to where you can buy them. http://www.clickshop.com/product/3739/punchline-keychain/punchk/ (http://www.clickshop.com/product/3739/punchline-keychain/punchk/)

I love the sound of a good pitch bend in a morning! nice ;)
-
innit! what size pot did u use?
-
I used a 500k, but I guess you coulod mess about with different values.. 1M was no good though..
-
sound... didnt wanna have2 buy any new uns cos got a loada diff sizes in stock... got sum 470k ones funny thing is i havnt been able to get any 500ks in the uk yet!?
meh!
cheers fellah!
-
In Sweden they only selleri 470k too, but... Same same. The 500's I hade I've desoldered from some other old thing... I think. Let me know how it goes.
-
Theres been some discussion of this before. Try testing a 500K with a meter, i bet its more like 470K. Unless you spend a lot more money on precision pots the tolerances are pretty wide.
-
That's probably true Obi Wan! ;) I've never noticed any difference on my "junk builds" anyway.
-
yeah... i tried just banging some random sizes of resistors in there with the pots...
worked on me dub siren...
-
Yeah, if you can't find the exact value, use the closest you can get. It probably won't matter, and in any case I thought circuit-bending was supposed to be anti-theory and imprecise?
-
Hear Hear! :D
-
nice.
-
yeah i guess...
last 2 projects ive built tho were dub sirens built to schematics so ive been tryin 2 stick to the plan as it were...
ill get back to basterdising childrens toys as soon as! ive got a yamaha in pieces and im making a glitch toy out of a old Vtech talking computer... quite interesting if not a little strange! =D
