that is absolutely awesome!

love how a simple bend does that...

i use my speak and spell with the pitch adjust for playin noises in dub musik!

what keyring was it you started with can i ask??? id like to have a crack at a similer project mysen!

Yes I love that too! I got it at a gadget shop here in stockholm but I think you can find it elsewhere too. And I guess you can do similar things to just about any of those keychains. I used a 500k, but I guess  you coulod mess about with different values.. 1M was no good though..

sound... didnt wanna have2 buy any new uns cos got a loada diff sizes in stock... got sum 470k ones funny thing is i havnt been able to get any 500ks in the uk yet!?

In Sweden they only selleri 470k too, but... Same same. The 500's I hade I've desoldered from some other old thing... I think. Let me know how it goes.

Theres been some discussion of this before. Try testing a 500K with a meter, i bet its more like 470K. Unless you spend a lot more money on precision pots the tolerances are pretty wide.

That's probably true Obi Wan!  ;) I've never noticed any difference on my "junk builds" anyway.

yeah... i tried just banging some random sizes of resistors in there with the pots...

worked on me dub siren...

Yeah, if you can't find the exact value, use the closest you can get.  It probably won't matter, and in any case I thought circuit-bending was supposed to be anti-theory and imprecise?

yeah i guess...

last 2 projects ive built tho were dub sirens built to schematics so ive been tryin 2 stick to the plan as it were...

ill get back to basterdising childrens toys as soon as! ive got a yamaha in pieces and im making a glitch toy out of a old Vtech talking computer... quite interesting if not a little strange! =D
