sa-20 distortion mod

i would like to add a distortion mod to my sa-20, how do i do this. photos would be necessary when explaining as i am relatively new to this.

also is it possible for me to add a pot between the speaker and headphone out to control volume.

Distortion mods can be found by simply touching pins together, and if pins crash when touched then use a pot to make them so resistant to the point they dont crash, but you can hear a sound effect. 3 things that usually cause distortion when messed with
1 Battery input (be careful)
2 pitch resistor
3 speaker leads

Touch those 3 things to each other and other pins with resistance and im sure youll find it
