Title: synth from handheld game...
Post by: jamiewoody on January 17, 2010, 12:26:08 AM
after removing the sensor switch boards and the lcd display, i discovered  another cool oscilator by using a 100k pot. i have to short circuit to turn power off and reset (i know i could do so using the negative of the battery supply, but this makes for a good reset as well).

the only problems, thus far, the annoying startup song which i cannot seem to turn off. i am sure there is an etching somewhere i could scratch away to eliminate it, but i cannot find it.

also, the fact that everything is kind of compact. i put this in a noxema skin creme container. maybe i should go larger in houseing...

i replaced the speaker and battery wires with a heavier gage, i hate wire the diameter of one of my gray hairs! this only makes more gray hairs for me! lol!

i am not  even sure which game this was. it was a cheap lcd tetris no brand name game i believe.
