There's also been much crazy talk about a mod for the trustly old poly 800...
If anyone's got a decent link to that, it may be a neat idea.
did stumble across a page a few weeks ago, however - in my haste for more info, didn't bookmark it!
:(
computers - they're all a bit alien to me.

Just wait until they go out and install the mods, they will thank you in the long run ;)
-
hehe maybe
its like tom green borrowing his dads car and painting slut mobile all over it
101's are gettin pretty darn rare out here in Australia so i think i would act the same
he is holding onto this thing with his life
-
nice guide - would be too scared to blow up my 101.
Will you ever be offering the service?
-
well, we've been promising it for about a year now but we hope to have a standard set of SH101 mods available this month. They will include all the mods in the guide plus an LFO trigger input if we can find a source of DPDT switching jack sockets and possibly an envelope to VCO pitch control.

Would these work with the MC-202 Paul? In a spirit of pure enquiry of course
-
Well that all depends on if we are about to have an ebay based bidding war doesn't it ;)
but yes, outside of the sequencer part, most of the 202 synth circuit appears to be virtually identical to the 101. You might need to do a bit of schematic comparison to make sure of positioning but the same kind of mods are definately possible with the 202.
-
You're safe there Paul, I'm completely and utterly skint at teh moment, but i do wnat some nice roland analogue action and teh idea of an MC-202 with the extra mods is rather tasty.
-
Indeed it is, and if people would stop insisting on outbidding me on MC202's and SH09's the world would be a better place >:(
at least my world would be anyway................... bastards!
-
I use a handy little site called auctionstealer.com, just put in the maximum you're prepared to pay and it'll bid automatically in teh last 10 seconds. If you doo succeed in getting an MC-202 keep us posted.
