adding volume sliders to a tr505

hi just wondering if someone can help I just want to add some sliders to a 505 like a 707 has(for each sound) is there a site with instructions on how to do this mod

The resistors for volume for each sound group are in that vertical line of green caps above the Roland sound ROM chip. Each sound group has a cap and a couple of resistors associated with it, one of which controls the volume. Presumably if you replace that resistor with a fader and tie the other fader pin to ground then you'll have a volume fader. I'm not entirely sure what the best fader value would be but go for log rather than linear.

How you'd go about cutting the slots in the casing though, thats an entirely different story.
