DIN sync
« on: January 18, 2012, 12:37:45 PM »

Hi all, happy 2012 if it's not too late to be saying such things ;-)

Anyway, just a quickie...

I want to knock up a DIN sync splitter box.
Am I correct in thinking it is just a simple matter of wiring terminals 1, 2 and 5 on the input socket directly to the respective terminals on each of the outputs?

Cheers,
James

you're going to have difficulty without pin 3, as its the clock signal  ;)

You can buy DIN sync splitter cables, so i don't see any reason why you can't just wire one in too two outs.

Hahh oh yeh, doh!

But it's basically a case of hardwiring the input to 2 (or more) outputs.
Nice one, that's easy enough!

Thanks Paul

Haha, indeed it is sir!
Well spotted!

I did wonder why he couldn't knock one up himself in a matter of minutes...
...apparently he's too lazy and just likes the pretty tins :-)
