that is beautiful....i nearly wept!

i follow the logic that the switches unlock misc bends, similar to how the patchbay works.

what does the joystick do? what features are in your model?

thanks jamie! I basically followed the ghalazzazaahlahalalazzzzzzzz schematics and added some stuff, so there's no revolution going on here...  :D

The patch is best used for the "chords mode" and the rhythms. I found some really cool bends  to change those auto chords and the beats. I'm sure it's done before but some sounds were news to me.

The joystick makes like little glitches and distortions (and BIG ones too in fact) ... it works on all sounds but sound really damn cool if you play long chords with let's say an organ and then move the joystick around in like a rhythm...

Then there's that video-out mod.

I also put the  LTC1799 from getlofi in there. I like using that one together with the other pitch pot... makes strange sounds together.

i take it the red knob joystick is microswitches rather than any kind of pots?

very cool! i added some of reeds mods on my sk1 too. the skew switch is really neat...it adds a percussive element, when the patch is in the right place with the skew switch, it almost sounds like an arpedgiator!!

so, does the joystick navigate around the matrix which flows from the cpu (that people often hook the patchbay to?)?

åh yes I råkar to be från Schweden ;) Borås in fact.. Hänger you around nått on the 99musik forum?

I have just bought an sk-1 myself and I'm expecting it to arrive next week. I have some really evil plans for it. If i succeed, it will have a lot of what you've already seen and some really cool things never done before. I like the look of your little monster ;) I will probably do something similar to the casing, just havent decided the shape yet...

cool! I live in sthlm då... No I don't hang around 99 but maybe I should... Kul att det var nån mer från Sverige här.. tycker det är ganska ovanligt med circuit bending i vårt lilla land... Do have myspace or somewhere I could hear your sounds? Good luck with the sk-1... I'm gonna bend my sk-5 next. Great stuff there too.

I currently don't have amyspace account, but will soon, you'll know by then. Nice music by the way! ;) I like "Spk&rd"

Thanks. I buy most stuff at loppisar, and I also get alot of stuff from friends whose children got bored of, or too old for their toys. But the speak&spell and the speak&math I got on eBay. Tradera kan man ju hitta en del på också.
