If you can supply me with a single occasion in the history of mankind where sprouts have ever 'rocked' then i'd be fascinated to hear about it.

i really do think sprouts are great. cook em up all the time iin the winter months with ginger and garlic. yummy.

buy them on a stalk and store them outside in water. they're much nicer like that.

 ;D

hmmm, according to Shropshire County Council (where i like to get all my sprout based knowledge):

'Did you know? Some 830 million sprouts are eaten in the UK at Christmas'

and yet according to Wikipedia:

'According to a survey in 2002, Brussels sprouts are Britain's most hated vegetable'

Something doesn't add up.

The vegetable growers association of great britain has decided to rebrand sprouts in the hope of making them more appealing to the younger generation. It's no longer possible to buy sprouts, but I hear fun sized cabbages are all teh rage this christmas.

I couldn't agree more.
although, the potatoes are exciting also...
the turkey however is not.
The taste as ugly as they look.

No wonder this forum has been quiet for a while, all this talk of the mouth watering nature of sprouts has scared people away.

I warn you now, i've had people killed for less!  ;)
