Title: Homemade Talk Box
Post by: goldenbaby on December 12, 2008, 04:43:19 AM
This isn't really circuit bending; actually more like sound-bending.

Anybody made one of these?  I picked up a few supplies to make one today, probably gonna start working on it early next week, while I wait for my bending components.  Check it out, should be pretty tight.

I tried making a talkbox at one point, but was a bit too impatient to scrounge around anywhere outside of my house or purchase anything. I found that using cheap little earphones works if amplified too much (they'll blow out soon enough, but are fun for a bit...so long as they're clean  ;))

I eventually just got an actual talkbox for myself.  They're a lot of fun. Here's a video of me using it:

Dang, very nice.  You could be a good performer too.  I'm just thirft-project junky, and really love the flare of wierd-ass home-lookin' junk that just psychs people right out; mind-boggling; an eye-poppers to absurdist gear-junkies!
