Title: DR-55 mods...
Post by: KitShunt on January 18, 2011, 08:32:15 AM
Hi all!
I'm new here, and to the world of modding.

For my first foray I've decided to tweak my DR-55, and have already managed to operate on the kick drum pitch and decay, adding pots for both.

Does anyone have any other mods for this machine they wouldn't mind sharing?

Much appreciated!

James.

Excellent!

Just what the 'DR' ordered  ;)
Any chance of some details? Component values, etc?
Like I said, I'm pretty new to this stuff.

Cheers bro.

that's probably because i dropped it in the wrong forum back then  :)

btw, i don't have anymore info.. years ago i got rid of it (exchanged it for an procussion, wich i exchanged for a r8, wich i exchanged for a r70-wich i still have  ;D ) but the pics of the bended circuitboard are still there , for who's interested

Cheers nochtanseenspecht.

That site where you have your pictures and stuff doesn't seem to work though  :(

There is an issue I'm also having with my DR55 - the audio out is picking up the tick of the trigger pulse on every quarter note, which is kind of annoying.

Has anyone had this problem, or know how I might fix it?

Thanks again.
James
