I opened keyboard today noticed on the board it has mini potentionmeters variable resistors i think they around 500k and 10k i seen couple on
board i was thinking maybe if i get some big potentionmeters around same type 10k and connect wires to them mini potentionmeters and try that see what happenes init when turned!!!!
or connect on top on the mini potentionmeters or would i have to remove them mini potentionmeters that allready on board itself on circuit board
i mite get some from maplins and try soldering some wires to them potentionmeters that allready on board and see whats sounds i get.
have few ideas also i noticed on casio mt-86 on side it has mini pitch bend allready on it i mite do same with that add bigger potentionmeter and add to it!! mite do stuff init
am i on the right thing here at circuit bending Smile
mite work change sound and stuff

I'd take out the trim pots and then see if higher value pots do anything for you.

I opened keyboard today and with screw driver turned few them trims on board itself it does actually change sound
turned round fully you get tone sound aswell
changed stuff to the drum pattern chords so on
pretty cool will have to get bigger potentionmeters and connect to plastic casing and play around with it
me own circuit bend then hey!!

here some pics of circuit board it's 492 maim board inside the casio mt-86.

you rekon if i remove the trims on board itself and put me own trims bigger potentionmeters around same type like
solder some wires to the places where the old trims where and connect to me new trims work cool init.
make keyboard look cooler aswell with the add on i have made will work on this project.

On board you can see trims i turned these and it did change sound in way.

I turned that silver square thing and that sort changes the sound and sort like pitch sort of aswell.
say i got 10k potentionmeter and connected to that silver square thing rekon it change sound sort off

will work this keyboard i'll get the parts from maplins coupld different type of potentionmeters.
i'll fasten the stuff to casing some how!! make take speaker away or leave speaker on it and just fasten to battery case bit.
could do with help like or if anyone actually done work on the 492 maim board thats inside keyboards.
will take some pics of keyboad when i add these new trims once i get them be about week till i am next in maplins.
