I'd call that rare too.
I think you should bend them both.
It'll be worth doing cos it'll be more rare once modified.

Yeah, get on with it, bend those bastards! You've got to consider how much use they are at the moment compared to how much use they would be with some good mods.

Although having said that, i've got a DeltaTalker speech aid thing for people with speech problems that sounds spookily like Stephen Hawkings. I think i got it off ebay for about £30-£40 but if you wanted to buy a new one it'd cost just under $4500! http://www.pacmedhawaii.com/specialty/delta.htm

As you can probably imagine i'm a bit wary of going near it with a soldering iron  :)

wow foruety five thousands a lot for a speech aid
Anyways I decided not to bend my sygmatics bilingual techer thing yet  I have got many schematics from it insted  i just use it for samples . and a photo of a mchine that looks verry similar Ive just found if i could get it on for you .I believe it to be the same model as mine only with less features ie missing inflection controls an peramiter of speech setting aswellas it has a cristal timer thing  it has in it ., mine doesnt have that as it has 6 analouge clock crystal filters to increase  speed of voice by the looks of things but it is verry similar

W.T.F.  That'll be fantastic, I was wondering what stephen hawkins would sound like circuit bent. Hey, any chance of some soundclips when (or if) you bend it?

 ;)
