personally, i choose to boycott all remakes of old movies. it is a shame that "hollywood" is so lame that they cannot come up with one quality original idea!

i saw a trailer last year for the new 3d one it looked pretty amazing, it had kinda the same feel, quite dark but not much you can tell from a trailer.  The original helped shape my love of sci fi along with the black hole!  I generally like old films and shun newer ones due to their over polished nature, but you can but hope one day they will make a good job of a remake.  I think the plot is meant to be pretty poor but so was the original.  Maybe you need to get one of the glowing tron suits for your live set Jamie  :o

thanks Druzz, think i may just hold onto the memories of the original and not bother going to see it.  There was just this vague hope they might have done a good job, if anyone ain't seen the original check it out its defo one of the original tech geek films and it was bloody amazing graphics (for its time!).

i think the original tron still looks very good today , its so stylish . i'm sick of modern 3d effects . i just dont like them .
i like the good old ''REAL'' special effects and movies were people build crazy stuff and costumes instead of just making virtual immages of it .

i haven't been to a "no glasses" 3d movie. i do not like cgi in general though.lucas ruined starwars with that stuff. it does not look like real life and does not mesh well with live sequences in movies.
