Title: MFB Tanzmaus
Post by: ujuoh on April 01, 2018, 10:43:31 AM
Hello

I want to know if it is possible to bend a tanzmaus to be able to send cv triggers to a eurorack module. I've got a cp909 by tiptop audio, and the circadian rhythms (maybe a bit off-topic), however I don't need the circadian anymore. So I'd just like to trigger this one clap, with my drum machine. Any ideas back from anyone would be sick.

The CP909 needs a Gate in to trigger and a Gate in for accent. You could either use a MIDI to Gate kit if the Tansmaus allows you to assign MIDI ON notes to pads, or you could assign two sounds to separate outputs on the Tansmaus and buy/build a simple "audio to gate" circuit for each output. There's one sold in the shop here: https://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forsale/audio2trig/audio2trig.html - that's the simplest thing I can think of.

I think it is possible.
