Title: Korg DDD-1 sampling board (DSB-1)
Post by: Ovations on March 08, 2014, 11:17:01 AM
Hello again :)

I found a DSB-1 sampling board on ebay and bought it right away. But I do not have any idea whether this thing is working as it should or not.

After inserting it into the DDD-1, the sampling option is available but I was not able to find out how it works - I have no manual. The display tells me something about memory blocks and "ready" but that's it. Is there someone who can help?

In addition there is a switch "Test On" on the pcb, which was in the "on" position and I put it to "off", assuming I do not want to do a board test. Correct or not?

And ... as far as I understood correct, there is the option to insert a rechargeable battery back in the bottom of the device. Although I could not find the original batteryback (which, according to the service manual, was a 4N-270AA), I found a replacement which might fit. The struggle is, I do not understand where to attach the plus and minus at the connector. The connector is "CN19" on the board KLM-6008. Can someone help me with this?

Kind regards,

Chris
