Title: Casio MT 140 Custom Rom /Sample replacement ?
Post by: synthrelated on September 16, 2013, 11:46:19 AM
Hi All,

Just wondering if its possible to replace the ROM chip that has the internal samples with a new one with different samples . I've seen people do this with the Tr-707 just wondering if it would be possible to do this with an MT-140 or similar casio pcm based keyboard .

So the reason for this is because I like the chaotic sequences it produces  when bent but the cheesy sounds make it unmusical and absurd a lot of the time.

Here's a vid of 707 with the thing I want , sorry if I used the wrong terminology btw

Thanks
