Okay, so I have this bent game (see it here: http://www.vimeo.com/4166157 (http://www.vimeo.com/4166157)) that I added a jack to and when it's plugged into my amp, it works fine; But when I plug it in to record with it sounds like crap (hear it here: http://www.archive.org/download/ASR200909/06WhenTheMasterIsAwayTorgoWillPlay.mp3 (http://www.archive.org/download/ASR200909/06WhenTheMasterIsAwayTorgoWillPlay.mp3)). I've used that jack on other bent devices and it's worked fine. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not an expert, but perhaps the output is much to hot for your input jack. Guitar amps are known to handle much more abuse than other devices. Is the device a lot louder in your amp than a guitar or other normalized source of input?

This is what I was mentioning that fried some rather expensive equipment in a prior thread. Though clearly no expert in this field by any stretch of the imagination, would assume that a 100-500k pot on the output might do it perhaps?

well the links to the mp3's don't seem to work for me but i'm guessing what you need is this topic:

or more specifically this diagram:

So I'd just add a few resistors? Sorry, Kind of a noob.

yeah, a 1k between the ground and signal pins of the jack and a 10K between the speaker positive and the signal pin

Thanks, I'll try this out tonight.
