Title: Yamaha DD-5 - To bend or no to bend?
Post by: Ulfilas on April 21, 2009, 01:23:29 PM
Hello there. Noob that's me.
I have in my posession a Yamaha DD-5 that I bought for cheap from a college friend in about 1990 along with a Yamaha CX5M Music Computer (which I also still have - but the VDU output seems broken)

Anyways - the DD-5 is in like new condition and I'm wondering if its a silly idea or not to attempt this as my first ever bend?!

Does anyone have any really useful links, circuit diagrams or anything for this machine that they would be oh so kind and share?

Also - are any of you seasoned hackers based in Birmingham - if so it woul dbe great to meet you :)

Give it a go, whats the worst that can happen?

I've not done a DD5 but most DD's have loads of bends all over one chip, if they are going to do anything.
