Hi, I've been on this forum before but only to ask questions and look around.ive finished my first circuit bend on a yamaha portasound 450 (not a common one) and have been working with my band writting some new material so i thought i would come back to circuit bending and lofi for a bit and try and mix my two genres together.
Anyway what I want help with now is making a synth drum. this is to be a live performance isntrument that i can use with my drum kit.
A few questions: 1. Anyone made one before, if so how?
2. What would make a good switch thats whackable (real word)?
I had an idea of using some kind of white noise (or similar) generator with editable sound via pots. This could then be triggered by a push to make switch. Is this good? I dont really know. I'm not an expert hence my help asking.
I had another thought of using an APC but with a push to make aswell. I think this would add versitillity.
Any commnets welcome.
Thanks if you can help,
Sammy
