there are lots of clessic mods for an sa-s.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 i did some of the classic bends, and also found an octave switch around where the 5th sw is.

Any chance of scaling down the photos a little there?

sorry about the photo size , i'm not a photo guy really .is there anything i can do with the forum functionallity or with photobucket.  the only solution i see is changing my camera settings.   i'll look and  see if i can fix that

i think with photobucket you can resize photos. i have photoshop, so it is a breeze for me. you can get the scaled down adobe photo deluxe which will do basic photo editing, such as rescaling.

nice work by the way. have you checked out the "casper bends"? there is a 5th switch which is kind of cool. i discovered an 8th switch on that same chip, which adds a high octave note. power crash is easy to do. though mine needs more variance, so i may experiment with potentiometers on it.

i checked the casper bends  and tryed a couple but i didnt want to get the thing too bloated . i'm pretty happy with Reed'S basic mod and the distortion i found ''digging in it myself '' .  by the way the distortion mod is pin 6 and 9 on the small chip with a 300 k res    and 500k pot in between.    sounds sweet with drum beats .

i tried a couple of the casper bends and did not really like them all...some are pretty cool though. it is good to at least learn something new.

http://soundcloud.com/synth-freak/kung-fu-kids-theme-sa-2-remix

here'S my first recording of the sa-2 . the distortion is on from the beginning and i turn it off at 3:30 . i am not currently set up to record but i was showing off my bent devices to a friend and i liked so much what the SA-2 was doing that i had to do a quick set-up and record it.

http://www.youtube.com/user/larsenejones?feature=mhum

and thats a link to a short video of the first time ever i jammed with musicians using bent devices. it features the sa-2 as well , the harpiscord sound with distortion more specifically . you can have a clear listen to this sound at the end at about 4:00 .
this was at the beginning of the jam and is the only footage i got , nothing too amazing , i swear the rest of the jam was much better  ;)
