Hello all,
After months of staring at my dismantled DD10 I'm finally going to have a go at bending it. Although it's my first bend, I (think I) know the basics of soldering, resistors, LEDs etc. and I (think I) know to generally stay away from the circuit near the battery supply.
But, I'm a little paranoid that while searching for bends I might fry the 'CPU' chip, as I don't know how to tell it apart from a RAM or ROM chip. The circuit board has a total of 5 chips; two of which have 8 pins and are tiny. One has 16 pins. One has 28 pins. And the biggest (with closer spacing between pins) has 64 pins.
Any advice on what to try bending and what to leave well alone would be most useful! In fact, any advice or suggestions with regards to this machine and it's bend points and danger areas would be hugely welcomed.
Thanks in advance!
Nathan
