I have just checked my bent yamaha vss-200 and have noticed the bass button in the VOICE SAMPLER allocate section simply does what the off button does which is spread the chosen fm sound across the whole keyboard ?? isnt it suppoosed to spread the sample across the keyboard ?? can some check theres if you have one ??

Doesn't the bass button just use the sampled voice in the auto accompaniment or auto bass or whatever its called, as opposed to actually making the sample playable in the bass section of the keyboard

cheers for that just tested it out and Yeh it does use the sample in the auto section it basically adds a bass tone under the sampled sound you have to press bass and auto bass to get it to work.  :)
