Title: moog source
Post by: nochtanseenspecht on October 26, 2009, 08:52:49 PM
i have a chance to buy a broken moog source.
on the vco board, the power has been connected the wrong way..
it is not realy a bargain
any opinions about it ?
i am a bit scared that the firmware has been wiped, or something..
but if i could fix it, nice chance to have this great synth
greetz, nochtanz

if the power supply has been put the wrong way then you may need to replace all transistor's, op-amps and elec-capacitors. big job even for a experienced repair engineer.
