hi ive got a ensoniq arx and am thinking about bending it am i correct in thinking the bends are on the ram ?
if so i quess you just attach wires to the connectors at the bottom of the ram socket and are theyre any pins to avoid ? obviously its a really nice machine and i dont want to kill it
cheers ciaran
Find the pinout for the memory. If its a 72 pin SIMM you can find it here

The address and data lines are the ones you want, although you can probably go for +5v and Ground as well. Obviously as long as you don't short them together at any point.
In my experience bending memory modules like that tends to destroy the samples on a lot of combinations and you end up having to keep reloading the sounds.
Fun thing to do is to put the bends on and then sample. You can sometimes get the bends to stay in memory that way and then write them to floppy.
