im getting a juno 106 with 10 dead keys in a row in the middle of the keyboard has anyone got any ideas what might be wrong , its not voice chips , id be surprised if its dirty contacts what do you reckon? btw where are you jiding the repair section i cant find it feel free to move this :-\
having never seen a juno service manual, so i'm just guessing:
sounds like one of the commons of the keyboard matrix is out/disconnected.
hint: get a service manual ;)

here's the service manual (http://www.hinzen.de/midi/juno-106/manual/juno-serv.pdf).
on the bottom right of page 10 there's a printout of the keyboard matrix, which is 8 by 8.
(well, only 61 keys, so three unused combinations.)
now, if one of the lines on the right hand side (CPU board connections 5 to 12) is failing, you'd miss a block of 8 keys in a row.
sure it's ten keys you're missing, and not eight?
rip the keyboard off and turn it into a module ;)
