Hi
My Electronic Criters sample DVD just scored 9 out of 10 in the latest Computer Music magazine (August issue, page 109). I'm well chuffed. They had this to say about the DVD.
Quote"Now here's a nice surprise. This homemade-looking DVD has a distinctly lo-fi appearance, but the sounds contained within knock the pants off many 'glossy' libraries. Your £20 gets you around 1000 sounds provided in both 16 and 24 bit WAV format, all created using circuit bent toys. If you're not familiar with circuit bending, it involves tweaking electronic equipment in a manner wholly unintended by the manufacturer, and the results are inspirational. The sounds fall into two categories, raw and processed, both of which feature sounds to spice up all but the least electronic of genres. Bargain!"
If you would like to take a listen you can download a 20 sample pack for free from http://www.electroniccritters.com.
The full sample collection costs £20 and can be bought on DVD or as a download from http://soundstosample.com/info/Other/Electronic_Critters/44
Cheers
Steve
