Title: Micro Korg??????????
Post by: nofewchips on July 07, 2008, 10:04:22 AM
Hi - is there any thing that can be done to a micro korg to make it more fun - it can run on batteries so would it be possible to do a voltage drop etc - someone once told me you cant really bend something thats based on dsp chips .Is that true.

Anyway has anyone every seen any mods for this ubiquitous beast??

Thanks.

Theres going to be some voltage regulators in there i'd imagine so i'm not sure a voltage drop crash would work, and i suspect anything with the kind of technology a micro korg uses would just shut down if it was starved of power. Although i could be wrong, give it a go. I've been surprised by machines that i really thought would be unbendable in the past. You might have more luck if you can find where the onboard waveforms are stored and try bending that.
