I can't believe it took me this long to build a bank of foot switches.
Anyone that plays live with circuit bent gear- and particularly solo performers- will relate to the desire to be able to trigger more sounds than two hands will allow. So I built a panel with 5 sturdy metal momentary switches that interfaces to a D-sub 9 port (like for joysticks) and then retrofitted a few instruments to work with the new switches.
I have to tell you, as a solo guy, it is a total game changer.
For a bit I had a second person with me to work the drum machine and sampler, but now I just use my feet for both machines. It's fantastic.
