Title: SYSTEM-X alarm box. Free to a good home
Post by: Circuitbenders on February 07, 2011, 12:33:15 PM
This is something thats been hanging around for a good few years now, but i haven't been able to just throw it away.

Basically it appears to be an alert box from a complex alarm system called the 'system-x'! There seems to be a red LED for each alarm that could go off, plus a massive red lamp on the top which i assume must have a normal bulb behind it but i've never looked. All the LED's are in silver panel mounts but three are missing. Theres also a reset switch with some freaky looking wafer switching behind it at the bottom.

I think i originally got this from a car boot sale as the big lamp looked cool and it'd probably be a good enclosure for mounting a different project in, but as is usually the way with these things i never got around to it. If anyone wants it then its yours for the price of postage, and no, i'm not going to take it apart and send you the bits.  ;)
