Title: bending with arduino

i am attempting to bend a Kawasaki toy keyboard with panels of LEDs on the sides of it. iv got the bending under control, but does anyone know how i could sequence a board of LEDs, using arduino, to blink in time with the drum machine of the keyboard? any suggestions would be most helpful.
