Title: External component housing?
Post by: MooseHead on January 01, 2012, 12:41:57 AM
I hope I posted this in the right section.
Anyway, yesterday I performed my very first circuit-bend, using a Casio VL-1. The VL-1 is very small, so there's not exactly much room for fitting pots and switches, so I thought I'd use a project box.
It works quite alright, but I have no idea how I'll fit the box to the casing of the VL-1

It sucks living in fear of the box falling off and the contacts breaking, so if you have any tips for this sort of thing, please tell me!

either just bolt it on, or wire up a multiway D-sub connector on the VL1 and a corresponding one the external case. This would let you either plug the case straight into the VL or connect it via a multiway cable
