Post by: 01012k7 on October 21, 2012, 06:08:06 PM
I have decided to spilt this project up and this will be the first part which will be complete and this
is called phase 1.

This will look a bit like a Korg ms 20 i guess with black carpet covering and white front panel which i am hoping to be complete before chrismas yes this year..:)
this unit will incorporate the list under this post
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
keyboard with 49 keys
Autobend Yusynth
LOGICAL GATES Yusynth
rene ms20 filter
Korg MS50 VCF clone
Synthrotek 8 Step Sequencer Analog waiting on the board
also 2 VCO ,ADSR,LFO,VCA ETC with outputs and other stuff the keyboard will have outputs to control  phase 2

That looks pretty solidly built.
2mm steel  and has been made  to my design a friend did the welding and made the extra bits the main part was bent by a sheet metal company.

70% of the drilling is done the case just need a support installed and then coved with the black carpet did the other unit in ,,
i have made some pc boards just waiting on some more acid now 2 left to print then electronics components
then i am h oping to get it working before chrismas ...

Because at the moment still waiting for parts and for painting to be sorted i am not doing much for a few weeks so i decided to carry on with the first projected which is a single chip synthesizers  using the SN76477N here some pictures

After a few problems and a freind trying to sort out the switchs on the mix section of the chip i found and update and sorted and now it works ... i have also updated the power supply as i had so much mains hum and i found it was the transformer so decided was easyer to just wire it so it runs of a 9v adaptor and works great .. also i add some graphic
here a update the project is done now looking at bending it later ...
