Title: poly 800 doesn't power-on after "native" green cable unplugged
Post by: frengo on June 06, 2014, 10:41:57 PM
hi there,

I had recently bought the mod kit and everything works great but a native green cable on the board near the DC 9v insert (so nothing regarding the mod kit) was accidentally unplugged and I can't remember where to connect it (the synth doesn't power-on anymore).

have a look here (it's the green cable)

any help would be really, really appreciated.

thanks a lot!

I've never seen that on a Poly800. I don't think the green wire and the red jumper wire are original.

I'm guessing the green wire is to ground something in the top of the case. Try wiring it to a ground point on the small volume/power knob board.
