Title: Snare and Hats switching jacks
Post by: jepyang on April 14, 2015, 11:20:28 AM
Anyone know a Canadian/North American source for the 7-pin switching jacks used for the snare and hats individual outs?I can't find anything from Digikey or Mouser. I found a couple possibilities on ebay, but the sellers are from China and don't have data sheets or part numbers available so I don't know the pinout.

You could always use actual switches and switch J1 and J2 in and out by hand.

That's plan B but the switching jacks just seem like such an elegant solution to a messy problem.

has anyone considered passively mixing the noise before the jack?
