Title: Yamaha DD5 ltc1799 and distortion knob inquiry
Post by: batterypoweredhookerboots on May 09, 2016, 06:09:59 AM
So im new to bending(this is first project) and new to circuits/electronincs (yet i intern at moog when im not working mornings) I have selected a Yamaha DD5 as my first bend, i have laid out a 20 point glitch patch bay(stackable banana style) and a 10 point melody patch bay with a wet/dry mix for melodies vs drums. A reverse rocker switch, and a momentary killswitch tom morello style.
I havent started actually soldering or drilling yet because i want to add an ltc1799, and i want to add a distortion pot, BUT I NEED HELP! this is my first bend and i cant find a distortion knob, and dont have my ltc1799s yet in the mail, I know the guest ZERO added both of these so if its possible i want to make it happen, any comments would help thanks, BPHBinc

There is a guide to installing LTC1799's over on the main site at http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/tutorials/LTCinstallation1.html

If you can't find a distortion in the circuit, you can always just build your own and wire it in before the output socket. Theres loads of simple circuits on the net.
