Title: Zoom 1201 clock mod
Post by: opsis on June 28, 2016, 01:17:45 PM
Hello,

I am new here.
I don't speak english very well so i hope you will understand me :)

Following the interesting article from here :
http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/newsarchive/zoom1201.html

I would to modify a Zoom 1201, only the clock mod linked.
I bought the LTC1799 module from here (received today, thanks!) :
http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forsale/LTC/LTC.html

I have tried to catch the Zoom 1201 service manual but unfortunately it looks unavailable.
So my question is where is the X-Tal on the PCB ?
I know only the small metal box but i don't see it (i am a newbie DIYer).

thanks,
Eric

Its what looks to be a 3 pin ceramic resonator in a white plastic rectangular case at X1
